Project Description

VANA has developed a wonderful relationship and partnership with The Good Shepherd Centre, which is situated in the township of Chinhoyi, about one hour’s drive north west of Harare.

​

The Good Shepherd Centre has approximately 50 orphaned and vulnerable children under their care and responsibility, and is overseen by Ps Eshwin and a team of dedicated workers.  

 

This Centre had a challenge with a shortage of water supply which made it very difficult to grow the much-needed fruit and veg on their land, adding to their financial demands. Through the generous support of VANA donors a bore with a solar pump has finally made it possible for their gardens to fluish.  VANA also continues to financial support both the children's education through the payment of school fees.
