What we have achieved
Although Vana Childcare Ministries is in its early days, it is quickly becoming the focal point in the community of Chivhu, Zimbabwe. To date Vana has purchased 10 acres of land and built three houses. Each of the houses has two rooms for the children, a mother's room, a kitchen, bathroom and living area. There are also two boreholes on the site, the 10 acres of land has been levelled and they have planted vegetable seed ready for the rain to come! 
 
If you were to arrive in Chivhu and drive along the road leading to the Vana site, you would be greeted by hundreds of metres of new fence that outlines the Vana property. It is a fantastic sight, you cannot miss Vana! The property and buildings are now secure and the team in Chivhu have done a great job. 
 

The vision is to see over 30 houses with over 240 children receiving love, hope and a positive future.
